Today, Anthropic, PBC filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission relating to its proposed initial public offering of its Class A common stock.
We are expanding our partnership with the General Services Administration (GSA) through a new agreement that gives government partners a 40% discount on Claude Enterprise, Claude for Government, and the Claude API.
We're at the start of a major effort to speed up drug development with Claude. Over the past several months, our scientists have engaged in deep research partnerships with six organizations developing new medicines.

Improving our alignment and security efforts
On July 30, we reported three incidents in which Claude models gained unauthorized access to real computer systems. We are conducting an in-depth analysis of both incidents, and planning to work with METR for an independent review. In the meantime, we’re sharing some of the changes we’ve made over the past month.
We’re announcing Enterprise Frontier Safeguards (EFS), a solution that combines the privacy of zero data retention with state-of-the-art safeguards for detecting misuse. EFS works by storing data in cloud infrastructure controlled by the customer, not Anthropic.
